C5 Aircross Plug-in Hybrid is the alliance of the 180 hp PureTech engine with the EAT8 automatic gearbox and an 81.2 kW (110 hp) electric motor for a combined power of 225 hp or 180 hp depending on the offer chosen . It has a torque of 360Nm available instantly which ensures permanent comfort of use by guaranteeing dynamic recovery at any time.
HYBRID 48V technology optimizes the performance and consumption of C5 Aircross, allowing an average fuel saving of 1 liter/100km (i.e. 15%) compared to the PureTech 130 EAT8 gasoline engine. It includes two regenerative braking modes: Drive (position D) and Brake (position B). The latter, more dynamic, allows increased recovery of the energy available during braking and deceleration phases.

A selector ideally placed on the central console
The central console of the C5 Aircross Plug-in Hybrid houses the driving mode selector. You have the choice between:
Electric: The car runs 100% electric up to 135 km/h, giving you absolute silence and exceptional driving fluidity. It has a range of up to 64 km (WLTP cycle).
Hybrid: Management between the electric motor and the thermal engine is done automatically, for optimal efficiency.
Sport: The vehicle offers optimal performance thanks to the electric motor which boosts the thermal engine, for a cumulative power of 225 hp and a cumulative torque of 360 Nm.
RECHARGE MODE
Simple and practical
C5 Aircross Rechargeable Hybrid is characterized by its very easy recharging.
The charging hatch, located at the left rear of the car, includes a light diode to monitor the charging process, which can also be viewed remotely on the MyCitroën application.
Charging can be programmed using the touchscreen tablet or the MyCitroën application to take advantage of off-peak rates, for example.
The charging cables are stored in a dedicated location under the trunk floor.
You have several solutions to recharge your C5 Aircross Rechargeable Hybrid:
On a standard outlet, the battery can recharge in 7 hours or 4 hours.
On a 32 A wall box with the optional 7.4 kW charger, recharging takes less than 2 hours. Available on public roads and certain car parks, the Wall Box can also be installed at your home.
The 100 kW terminals are not compatible with C5 Aircross Rechargeable Hybrid.
