Citroën Berlingo Van offers a unique innovation in the field of utility vehicles: Surround Rear Vision technology for unrivaled visibility. A 5'' color screen in place of the central rearview mirror displays images from two cameras to give you three views of your immediate environment, in real time.

TRACTION CONTROL FOR TOTAL CONTROL

GRIP CONTROL

Grip Control is an advanced traction control system that optimizes traction depending on the type of terrain.

 

The Citroën Relay model offers one-mode Grip Control which improves driver and passenger comfort. The Citroën Jumpy and Citroën Berlingo Van models are offered with the Grip Control system with selectable mode, allowing you to adjust traction depending on the type of terrain.

GRIP CONTROL WITH HILL DESCENT ASSIST

The Citroën Berlingo Van and Citroën Relay are equipped with the Hill Descent Assist system which minimizes slipping and allows you to maintain control on steep slopes.

WITH HITCH STABILITY CONTROL

An ESP function on vehicles equipped with a towing device, the towing stability control detects the oscillating movements of the trailer and acts on the vehicle's brakes to stabilize it.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

Using a camera, the device detects the car in front and automatically maintains the safety distance previously chosen by the driver. The Stop function, only available on the EAT8 gearbox, allows you to stop the vehicle.

INVOLUNTARY LINE CROSSING ALERT
This technology uses sensors to detect the involuntary crossing of road markings when the turn signal has not been activated. It then helps gently steer the vehicle back into your lane.

COLLISION RISK ALERT
If there is a risk of collision with the vehicle in front of you or if a pedestrian is detected in your lane, Collision Risk Alert sends you visual and audible signals. 
Active Safety Brake
ACTIVE SAFETY BRAKE
This safety feature reduces the risk of collision. Operating at 5 km/h, this system detects fixed and moving obstacles and pedestrians. If a collision situation is detected, the Active Safety Brake automatic emergency braking system sends an alert to the driver. Without any reaction on its part, the system automatically brakes the vehicle.

DRIVER ATTENTION ALERT
Analyzing changes in direction in relation to road markings, Driver Attention Alert technology detects the driver's alertness and sends a signal if necessary. This is a particularly useful safety feature on roads where the speed limit is above 50 km/h.

HILL STARTING ASSISTANCE
Designed to prevent unwanted movement of the vehicle on a hill when the brake pedal is released, Hill Start Assist acts on slopes greater than 3% by stabilizing the vehicle for approximately 2 seconds. You can therefore switch calmly from the brake pedal to the accelerator pedal.

SIGN RECOGNITION AND SPEED RECOMMENDATION
A true innovation, this technology relies on the camera located at the top of the windshield to detect traffic signs. It displays the current speed limit, so you can adjust your cruise control or speed limiter to safely respect it. It also detects Stop, One Way and No Overtaking signs.

Ideal when traveling on the motorway, this monitoring system warns you of the presence of a vehicle in the blind spots, with a bright orange LED light in the corner of the exterior mirrors.

This safety innovation allows you to have essential driving information without taking your eyes off the road. On a special transparent slide, the system projects the current and recommended speed, speed limiter setting, navigation instructions and distance alert into your field of vision.

This system informs the driver of the proximity of obstacles via visual cues displayed on the 8” touchscreen tablet and by an audible alert.
